One of the most valuable lessons I’ve been learning recently is the art of celebration through the struggles. I haven’t arrived in a place yet where everything is as I’d like it to be… and never will. This song is a reminder that I have many reasons to celebrate and that I am loved with a powerful and restoring love.

I could try to write a profound and eloquent stanza that would wow academics and scholars but instead I’m describing this feeling as ‘so good’.

As a Christian I believe that God holds my hope and my future. I have spent a disproportionate percentage of my life worrying about the future and what may or may not happen. One thing I can be certain of is that God will be as good tomorrow as He was yesterday and as He is today. Romans 8 reminds us that He works for good through our circumstances... He works for the good of those who are called according to His purpose.

Being called by God is amazing - He chose me and He also chose you to be on His team.

Being loved by God is incredible - it’s a definite reason to celebrate every day.

Being found in God is healing and restoring - He is our hiding place.

Aside from the message, I just love the bassline on this song. It’s a joy to work with so many great musicians through Homegrown Worship. Before I was a Christian, my passion was football… music was God’s idea and I’m so grateful that He gifted me and called me for a purpose.
