ARMOUR OF WORSHIP’s music themes are heavily influenced by Amanda’s ongoing mental health recovery journey. Amanda’s new found Christian faith is inspiring a merge of mental health awareness and worship content in how Jesus is taking Amanda’s recovery to new places that previously seemed impossible. Amanda’s first decade of adult life was spent living in inpatient and community mental health services, endlessly receiving support through a decade of multiple suicide attempts, trying to recover from her disabling mental illness. But at age 30, Amanda invited Jesus Christ into her life and received the Holy Spirit at the Christian festival Creation Fest in 2018, going on to get her water baptism on Easter Sunday 2022 at her church Gas Street in Birmingham.

Having received many miracles of healing and deliverance, with mental health symptoms being completely cured through Jesus Christ’s healing power, Amanda is well on her way to experiencing full freedom from the chains of mental illness, and is excited about her future plans that Jesus has to use her through her 'Armour Of Worship' music ministry.

As an active mental health awareness activist, Amanda's passion is to use her music and testimony to bring hope, healing and recovery through Jesus Christ to those experiencing mental illness. Amanda has performed her original songs and spoken at large charity events including North Staffs Mind 40th Anniversary, Rethink Mental Illness (World Mental Health week) and Expert Citizens/Voices National Insight Awards Ceremony.

Amanda's first music artist project 'Last Of The Spoken' has had her original songs played/interviewed on UCB2 Radio, BBC Radio Stoke Breakfast Show, 6 Towns Radio and Moorlands Radio. Amanda also achieved the No.3 chart position for 'Moorlands Radio - Staffordshire and Cheshire 2018 Song Of The Year Top 40 Chart Show' with her debut 'Last Of The Spoken' single 'Fairytale Ending', a mental health awareness anthem.
